  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped shallot
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup golden balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup good quality olive oil
  • 1 cup sunflower oil

This is one of the standout favorite salad dressings at our Carmel Valley Farm Stand. That’s saying a lot since our regulars have come to expect nothing but the most delicious organic salads. It’s so simple but will elevate nearly any salad. Warning: this may put you off store-bought dressing forever. 

Place all ingredients except oils in a food processor or blender and blend.

Combine the two oils.

With the blender or food processor running, slowly drizzle in the oils until emulsified. 

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For best flavor, let the vinaigrette come to room temperature before serving.
